In over-simplified terms, this means they can print shares out of thin air and sell them to you. This counteracts the mechanism described above by increasing supply. Every share they print and sell decreases the value of the share (kind of like what happens when our government prints more currency, and then it becomes worth less).The key to this process is to only sell as many new shares as they need to, because they could theoretically sell until the price goes to zero, but they obviously don't want to do that.
